Start Your Innovation LLC provides template-customized Squarespace website setup, website buildout, launch support, workflow assistance, Care Plans, hourly website assistance, add-on services, and related digital support services for businesses, nonprofits, creators, and other clients.

"Client," "you," and "your" refer to any person, business, nonprofit, or other entity that accesses our website, submits a form, requests services, purchases services, or receives any deliverable from us. If you use our website or purchase services on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

These Terms apply to all services we provide unless a separate written agreement expressly states otherwise. If there is a conflict between these Terms and a specific written proposal, invoice, or signed agreement, the more specific written document controls for that project only.

You accept these Terms when you:

• access or use our website;

• submit any form, request, or inquiry;

• request or approve a proposal or invoice;

• pay a deposit, invoice, Care Plan fee, or other amount;

• receive or use any deliverable, work product, or support from us; or

• continue using our website or services after updated Terms are posted.

Electronic acceptance — such as an online form submission, email approval, or invoice payment — has the same legal effect as a handwritten signature. No physical signature is required to create a binding agreement.

If you are accepting these Terms on behalf of a business or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity. If you do not have that authority, do not submit forms, approve proposals, or make payments on its behalf.

Our services are intended for clients who are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding agreements. By using our website or purchasing services, you represent that you meet these requirements.

Start Your Innovation LLC operates from New Jersey and primarily serves clients in the United States. We do not guarantee that our services are appropriate, available, or compliant for use in every jurisdiction, industry, or regulated sector.

If your business operates in a regulated industry, serves customers outside the United States, or handles regulated data, you are solely responsible for informing us before work begins. Unless expressly agreed in writing, we do not provide legal, compliance, or regulated-industry consulting services.

Start Your Innovation LLC reserves the right to decline any project or discontinue services where the content of the requested work conflicts with its sincerely held business values and beliefs, to the extent permitted by applicable law. Project decisions are based solely on the nature and content of the work — never on the identity or personal characteristics of the prospective client. Consistent with the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination, N.J.S.A. 10:5-1 et seq., Start Your Innovation LLC provides its services without discrimination and does not treat any client differently based on race, creed, color, national origin, nationality, ancestry, age, sex, pregnancy or breastfeeding, marital status, civil union status, domestic partnership status, familial status, affectional or sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, religion, disability, liability for service in the United States Armed Forces, atypical hereditary cellular or blood trait, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected under New Jersey law.

Start Your Innovation LLC provides practical website and systems services, which may include:

• Launch, Launch Plus, and Launch Pro website packages;

• template customization and custom layouts built with Squarespace blocks;

• core system setup or upgrades (Service, Store, Restaurant, Creator, or Nonprofit);

• Flow add-ons and Zapier-based workflow setup;

• newsletter, blog, portfolio, QR Code Pack, and marketing asset setup where included;

• professional email setup where included;

• hourly Care services and monthly Care Plans;

• website updates, text and photo updates, small layout edits, and basic troubleshooting;

• domain connection and launch support; and

• other services described on our website, proposal, invoice, or written communication.

The specific features, deliverables, pricing, limitations, and timelines for each offering are determined by the applicable website page, proposal, invoice, or written confirmation in effect at the time of purchase.

We do not guarantee that any website, workflow, or deliverable will produce a particular business result — including sales, leads, traffic, search rankings, or revenue. Our role is to provide the services agreed in the applicable scope.

Each package, add-on, or Care Plan is limited to the scope described in the applicable website page, proposal, invoice, or written confirmation. Please review your selected package carefully before purchasing and ask any questions before payment is made or work begins.

Launch packages and add-ons are project-based. Care Plans are ongoing support services and are not treated as Launch projects unless expressly stated in writing.

Package features are included only to the extent expressly listed for the selected package. Items listed in a higher package are not included in a lower package unless stated in writing.

Unless expressly included in your package or confirmed in writing, services do not include:

• unlimited revisions, pages, meetings, or design concepts;

• custom coding or advanced development;

• advanced SEO strategy, legal policy drafting, tax or compliance advice;

• copywriting, photography, videography, or logo design;

• complex e-commerce, membership, or donation system development;

• paid plugins, apps, fonts, templates, or integrations;

• advertising campaign management or social media management; or

• ongoing support after the applicable support period ends.

Any request beyond your purchased scope may require a separate quote, add-on, or Care Plan. We have no obligation to perform out-of-scope work unless we expressly agree in writing and any required payment has been made.

6a. How Projects Work

A typical Launch project follows this process:

• Start a Project — submit your project form.

• Pre-Plan — we review your goals, scope, and requirements. No deposit is due yet.

• Deposit — after the Pre-Plan review is confirmed and you're ready to proceed.

• Plan — we map out your pages, layouts, and visual direction. You review and approve before Build begins.

• Build — we build every page, apply your design, and test across devices. You review at the end.

• Launch — domain connection, email setup, final SEO steps, and pre-launch checks.

• Final Payment — due before your site goes live.

• Post-Launch — 14 days of post-launch support for minor fixes.

6b. Starting Work

We are not required to begin work until the required deposit, intake materials, account access, and other prerequisites have been received.

Certain projects may also include a Pre-Plan or discovery review before the deposit is due. During this stage, we may review your selected package, project goals, third-party tool requirements, estimated costs, and implementation needs.

6c. Build and Launch

During Build, feedback must be specific, consolidated, and provided within the requested review period. Fragmented, repeated, or late feedback may delay the project or result in additional fees.

Launch occurs only after approvals are received, final payment is made, required third-party accounts are active, and all Client responsibilities are completed.

After launch, post-launch support is limited to the items expressly included in your selected package. It does not include new features, redesigns, new content, or ongoing maintenance.

7a. Required Materials

You are responsible for providing everything we need to do our work, including:

• business information, service descriptions, pricing, and contact details;

• logos, brand assets, photos, and written content;

• Squarespace, domain, email, and payment processor access;

• Zapier or automation account access where applicable;

• product, membership, or donation details; and

• any other materials required for your project.

All materials you provide must be accurate, complete, lawful, and authorized for use. You are solely responsible for ensuring you own or have the right to use all content you submit.

7b. Responding on Time

During active project phases, please respond to requests for information, feedback, approvals, or payment within two office days where reasonably possible. Our current office days are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Delayed responses may affect timelines and may lead to a project pause. Before pausing a project, we will make reasonable efforts to follow up.

Our services may involve third-party platforms including Squarespace, Zapier, Stripe, PayPal, Google Analytics, Calendly, domain registrars, email providers, and other tools selected for your project.

You are solely responsible for creating, maintaining, paying for, and complying with the terms of all third-party accounts and subscriptions — including your Squarespace plan, domain, email, and payment processor — unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing.

Third-party providers may change their pricing, features, or policies at any time. Such changes may affect your website or automations. Start Your Innovation LLC is not responsible for third-party platform changes, outages, pricing increases, or policy updates.

9a. Payment Schedule

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

• A 50% deposit is due to begin work, after the Pre-Plan review is confirmed.

• The final 50% payment is due before your site goes live.

• Add-ons follow the same 50/50 payment structure.

• Care is billed hourly. Care Plus, Care Pro, and Care Max are billed monthly or yearly.

• Yearly billing is available at a discounted rate.

We are not required to launch, publish, or hand off a completed project while any amounts remain unpaid.

9b. Accepted Payment Methods

We accept all major credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Amazon Pay, and Cash App Pay. PayPal and Venmo are available upon request. Flexible payment options are available through Klarna, Affirm, and Afterpay/Clearpay.

If you use a financing or buy-now-pay-later option, you remain responsible for complying with that provider's terms. Approval or denial of financing is determined by the provider, not us.

9c. Fees and Chargebacks

You are responsible for any applicable taxes, bank fees, payment processor fees, currency conversion fees, or financing charges associated with your payment method.

Chargebacks, payment reversals, or disputed invoices may result in immediate suspension of services. If we incur costs because of a payment dispute, you agree to reimburse those amounts to the extent permitted by law.

Please contact us before initiating a dispute. We are committed to resolving concerns in good faith.

Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund and Cancellation Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms. Please review that policy carefully before purchasing.

Key points: a 50% deposit is generally non-refundable once work has started. The final payment is due before launch and is not refundable after the site goes live or substantial work has been completed. Care Plans may be cancelled at any time, but fees for the current billing period are generally not refundable.

If a project is paused because we are waiting on content, access, approvals, feedback, or payment for 14 or more days, we may pause the project and reschedule it based on availability.

A $500 Relaunch Fee may apply before work resumes on a paused project. This fee covers administrative time, rescheduling, and restart effort.

If a project is paused for 90 or more days due to unresponsiveness, incomplete materials, or non-payment, we may treat it as cancelled under the Refund and Cancellation Policy.

12a. Included Revisions

Each Launch project includes two revision rounds — one at the end of Plan and one at the end of Build. Revisions cover layout adjustments, content updates, design changes, and feature refinements within the current phase.

Revisions do not include new pages, new features, or scope changes.

12b. Additional Revisions

Additional revision rounds are available at $150 each. Changes that go beyond revision scope — such as adding new pages or features, changing overall design direction after approval, or rebuilding completed sections — may be treated as additional work and billed separately.

13a. What Care Plans Cover

Care Plans are ongoing support services for clients with an existing Start Your Innovation website. They cover text and photo updates, small layout edits, new sections on existing pages, blog and product updates, link fixes, and basic troubleshooting.

Care Plans do not include redesigns, rebuilds, new pages or features, complex store or membership changes, or Squarespace plan upgrades.

13b. Per-Site Requirement

Clients with multiple Start Your Innovation sites require a separate Care Plan per site.

13c. Rollover Policy

Unused Care Plan hours, discounts, tasks, or support capacity do not roll over to the next billing period unless expressly agreed in writing.

13d. Care Plan Tiers

Care — $150/hour, 1-hour minimum.

Care Plus — $300/month. Up to 2 hours included. Additional hours at $150/hour with a 10% discount. Flow clients: up to 1 new workflow per month.

Care Pro — $600/month. Up to 4 hours included. Additional hours at $150/hour with a 20% discount. Flow clients: up to 2 new workflows per month.

Care Max — $900/month. Up to 6 hours included. Additional hours at $150/hour with a 30% discount. Flow clients: up to 3 new workflows per month.

14a. Flow Add-On

The Flow add-on includes a 60-minute discovery session, up to 5 Zapier automations, PDF documentation, 14 days of post-launch support, and 1 free workflow update.

Flow requires a Squarespace Core plan or higher. Your existing plan is confirmed during the discovery session before work begins.

14b. What Flow Does Not Cover

Flow does not include automations beyond the 5 included, additional workflow updates beyond the 1 free update included (available through Care Plus, Care Pro, and Care Max), or Squarespace plan upgrades.

15a. Client Ownership

Upon receipt of full payment, you own the completed Squarespace website deliverable created for you, subject to Squarespace's platform terms and any third-party tools or assets used in the project.

Your Squarespace plan, domain, email, and third-party accounts are in your name and belong to you.

15b. Our Materials

Start Your Innovation LLC retains ownership of our business processes, templates, frameworks, workflows, automation structures, proprietary methods, and any materials we create that are not specific to your deliverable.

We do not claim ownership over your logo, brand assets, content, photos, or business information that you provide to us.

15c. Portfolio Rights

Unless you opt out in writing before work begins, Start Your Innovation LLC may feature completed work in our portfolio, website, social media, case studies, and marketing materials. We will not share confidential business information or sensitive project details without your permission.

Start Your Innovation LLC offers discounts on Launch packages and add-ons for verified organizations and individuals. Discounts are non-stackable, non-transferable, and applied to one package per project.

Organizations — 30% Off

The following types of organizations qualify for 30% off any Launch package or add-on:

• Nonprofit organizations — upload your 501(c)(3) determination letter.

• Churches — upload your 501(c)(3) determination letter, IRS church status letter, or official church letterhead signed by your pastor or leader.

Individuals — 15% Off

The following individuals qualify for 15% off any Launch package or add-on:

• Active military and veterans — upload your Military ID, DD-214 Form (please black out your Social Security number and any other personal information), or veteran designation on a state-issued driver's license.

Simply upload your documentation on the Start a Project page when you're ready to begin.

General Discount Rules

Start Your Innovation LLC reserves the right to:

• approve or deny discount eligibility;

• request additional or updated verification;

• limit discounts to specific packages or add-ons;

• discontinue or modify the discount program at any time;

• reject expired, incomplete, altered, or unverifiable documentation; and

• refuse to apply a discount retroactively unless expressly agreed in writing.

A discount does not change the scope of services, payment schedule, revision limits, refund rules, third-party cost responsibilities, or any other terms unless expressly stated in writing.

Start Your Innovation LLC does not verify or advise on a client's nonprofit compliance, tax-exempt status, charitable solicitation obligations, or other regulatory obligations. The client remains solely responsible for all such matters.

You are solely responsible for all content, materials, and instructions you provide to us or publish through your website — including text, images, logos, trademarks, product descriptions, pricing, policies, and testimonials.

By providing content, you represent and warrant that you own or have permission to use it, that it is accurate and not misleading, and that it does not infringe any third-party rights or violate any laws.

Start Your Innovation LLC is not responsible for verifying the legal accuracy, regulatory compliance, licensing, or truthfulness of your business content unless expressly agreed in writing.

Start Your Innovation LLC does not guarantee any particular business outcome from our services — including sales, leads, traffic, search rankings, donations, memberships, or revenue. Our role is to build and support your website according to the agreed scope.

We also do not guarantee uninterrupted website availability, third-party platform performance, advertising results, or long-term technical compatibility.

By providing your email address and phone number, you consent to receive service-related communications from us, including project updates, invoices, scheduling information, and support messages.

If you separately consent to SMS/text messages, those communications are governed by our SMS/Text Messaging Terms. You may opt out of marketing messages at any time.

20a. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our website and services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

20b. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Start Your Innovation LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost revenue, missed launch dates, or business interruption — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to our services will not exceed the total amount you paid to us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable law, including the New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act where applicable.

20c. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Start Your Innovation LLC, its owners, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your content, your use of our services, your violation of these Terms, your breach of any third-party rights, or your failure to comply with applicable laws.

21a. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts located in New Jersey, unless a different forum is required by law.

21b. Dispute Resolution

Before initiating any formal dispute, please contact us to allow a good-faith opportunity to resolve the issue informally. Many concerns can be addressed quickly through direct communication.

21c. Updates to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on our website with a new effective date. For active paid projects, material changes will not retroactively reduce the specific service terms already agreed for that project, unless required by law.
